Look after Options/Common. You may find some interesting options.
You can load many picture at once by selecting them in a directory window and dragging them onto the Photo Line window.
If the open dialogs disturb you while painting, you can remove them from the screen with the command View/Hide dialogs.
You can move lassos, without the image under it if you press the Alt- and Ctrl-key while moving.
For better working with masks, you can setup the color and the intensity of the masks in the options menu.
Photo Line has a new created picture format (*.PLD). If you save this format, Photo Line can save all masks and lassos of the current picture.
If you choose "Edit mask", don't forget to deselect the button when work is done.
You can drag a lasso from one picture window to another.
If you create a mask from a lasso, in many cases you should invert the mask.
To avoid the dragging from colors to the foreground or background color you can set this colors by clicking on a colorfield (shift pressed for backgroundcolor).
You can create proportional lassos when you press the alternate key while creating the lasso.
While drawing you can set the foreground color by pressing the alternate key and klicking on the desired color in the picture.
All drawing tools (you notify the brush in the icon) and the stamp and finger, you can draw lines by pressing the Ctrl key while drawing.
To delete the whole picture you choose the rubber tool and click on the "whole picture" button.
You can drag colors/curves/brushes from one color/curve/brush field to another with the mouse.
To create quadratic or round lassos, press alternate and shift key while creating.
You can create a brush from a selection by dragging it onto a brush field.
The area of an image can be enlarged by selecting Tool/Information and changing the size fields.
